  • The volume of work is overwhelming, you don’t t know where to start (or stop)

  • Deliverables (the “traffic”) has ground to a halt (value isn’t flowing)

  • Everyone is complaining how busy they are, tempers are flaring

Visual Agile Coaching Tips

  • Lay it all out – See and Show your work – visually displaying the full extent of a To Do List or Backlog can really help show why you need to stop starting and start finishing

  • The size of the work can be visualised, from scooters (small work) to trucks (large work)

  • Try different prioritisation frameworks i.e. Outside Lane = Must (from MoSCoW) or create your own for your context.

  • Remember less is quite often more in constrained resources environments.
