Culture Map
Culture is the foundation of every team and organization.
This canvas helps teams and organizations discuss and understand their current culture, map out their desired cultural landscape, and identify actionable steps to move in that direction.
It uses a simplified, three-layer model—inspired by Hofstede’s Onion Model and Schein’s Cultural Layers—to make culture tangible and actionable.
Example Steps in a Workshop:
1️⃣ Reflect:
Encourage participants to identify and map the current culture layers (e.g., current values, behaviors, and rituals).
2️⃣ Envision:
Facilitate a conversation about the desired cultural state. What values, behaviors, and rituals should evolve or emerge to align with the organization's goals?
3️⃣ Actions:
Identify specific, actionable steps to evolve from the Current State (A) to the Desired Next State (B).
